August Will Be Indicative

Possible targets for the F-16.

How the F-16s can be used:

1. Integration of the F-16 into the existing air defence system (there will be even more missiles shot down).

2. Use to protect critical infrastructure (along with additional Patriots).

3. Application in support of ground operations.

4. Conducting reconnaissance missions.

In real combat conditions, the F-16 fighters provided to Ukraine will have approximate parity with the Russian MiG-31BM interceptors.

The F-16 has significantly less radar visibility than the MiG-29, and therefore it will be much more difficult to target it from a long distance.

At the same time, the F-16 itself is armed with the AIM-120D air-to-air missile with the declared range of 180 km.

The Ukrainian F-16AM will be almost on an equal footing with the dangerous Russian MiG-31BM, because the range of their radars practically brings them to parity due to the situation.

In the confrontation with the Su-27/30/34/35, as well as the MiG-29/35, the Ukrainian American aircraft will have an advantage, for example, over the Su-27/30 and MiG-29, or equal opportunities with the Su-34/35 and MiG-35.

Priority ground targets for the F16s:

- Enemy command posts.

- Ammunition and fuel depots.

- Radar stations.

- Bridges and other infrastructure.

- Armored vehicles (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers).

- Artillery systems.

It is too early to draw conclusions. August will be indicative in order to assess the change in forces. One thing is clear. Ukraine has aircraft that can fight with the enemy on an almost equal footing and strengthen the air defence system.

And that means:

- The Russian army will have less air support.

- There will be fewer launches of CABs bombs and those who launch them.

- The number of Russian air targets shot down will increase.

- The number of destroyed headquarters and warehouses will increase.

- Ukraine's energy and critical infrastructure will be under greater protection.
