Israel Eliminates Leader Of Hamas' Military Wing

He also served as the radical movement's Minister of Economy in Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the elimination of Abed al-Zari'i, an operative within the production department of the military wing of Hamas. He also held the position of Minister of Economy for the radical movement in Gaza.

This has been reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to The Jerusalem Post.

According to the IDF, Hamas operative Abed al-Zari'i was eliminated on Sunday. He was involved in the production department of the military wing of the terrorist group, as well as serving as Hamas' Minister of Economy in the Gaza Strip.

The military added that Zari'i was involved in controlling humanitarian aid in Gaza and managing Hamas markets. He was also responsible for the distribution of fuel, gas, and resources essential to the operations of the Islamist radical movement.

Elimination of Hamas leaders

On August 31, it was reported that Ismail Haniyeh, a leader of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, was killed in Tehran. The exact details of his death remain unclear. Iran and Hamas have accused Israel of carrying out the attack, although Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for the operation.

Media reports suggested that explosives were planted in the building in Tehran where Haniyeh was staying to attend the inauguration of the new Iranian president.

The Telegraph reported that Israel's Mossad intelligence agency recruited agents from the IRGC unit responsible for the security of high-ranking officials to plant explosives in three rooms of the building where the Hamas leader was located.

However, Iranian sources claim that the Hamas leader was killed by a short-range missile.
