Powerful Explosions In Crimea: Neptunes Hit Belbek Airbase

The occupants reported a massive attack.

On the night of August 9, there were explosions in the temporarily occupied Crimea in Saki and Chernomorsk district. This was reported by monitoring Crimean Telegram channels and a representative of the occupation "administration" of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev.

It is noted that the propaganda media wrote about the threat of drone strikes on the territory of Ukrainian Crimea captured by Russian troops at about 00:40.

Later, the occupation "administration" announced an air alert in Crimea - first because of the drones, and later also because of the missile threat.

There were also reports about the work of air defence systems of the Russian invaders.

As the "Emergency/Saki" Telegram channel wrote, explosions were heard in Saki district, a UAV was allegedly shot down over the sea.

Later, the so-called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev said about "repelling the AFU attack" by the Russian occupiers. The "official" also spoke about the alleged missile strike and the work of air defence.

"According to preliminary information, one Neptune anti-ship missile has already been shot down over the water area at a considerable distance from the coast," Razvozhayev wrote.

He also added that there was still a danger of a drone attack. But later, at around 1:50, he said the air alert had been cancelled.

At the same time, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported that gunfire was heard in Chernomorske, and one "strong explosion."

The media outlet later reported that there was another explosion in Chernomorske, and locals said that they "hit something when there was the first explosion."

And then "Crimean Wind" informed that explosions from the direction of Chernomorske were heard in the village of Krasnoselske.

At 02.53 a subscriber of "Crimean Wind" reported a strong explosion near Pionerske outside Simferopol.
