‘War Outbreak Will Mean End For Lukashenka’

That is why he is looking for ways to reconcile with Ukraine.

The host of "Khodorkovsky Live" Sergei Aslanyan said in an interview with 24 Channel that Lukashenka is indulging Putin and is forced to transfer his troops back and forth, although he is very afraid to let them go beyond the borders of Belarus. As soon as the Belarusian dictator is left without an army, he will be left without power, which will not suit him, because he remembers well the protests against him in 2020. For Putin's sake, he needs to gather troops and say: "I have maneuvers here, now I will scare the Ukrainians."

"However, this does not prevent him from congratulating Ukraine on Independence Day, understanding that his country is Ukraine's neighbor," Aslanyan emphasized.

The host explained that for Lukashenka, the beginning of the war will be his end, because, unlike the Russian dictator, he does not have a lot of resources. Although he should be as loyal to Putin as possible, he is looking for ways to reconcile with Ukraine.

"Lukashenka knows that Moscow is ready for negotiations. Russia, on the one hand, continues to fight brutally, and on the other, its resources are running out. Lukashenka sees that the Kremlin is not confident in victory, " Aslanyan noted.

The host is sure that Lukashenka will subsequently try to enter into negotiations between Russia and Ukraine because he needs to retain power in Belarus. Over time, he will become loyal to the Ukrainians, and he will do everything just as a demonstration for the Russian dictator.
