Zhukovsky Airport Attacked Near Moscow: Runway On Fire

On the night of September 10, more than 10 drones attacked Moscow region. Moscow mayor Sobyanin said air defence systems were working in Ramenskoye and Podolsk, and fires broke out after the drone attacks. Russian public pages write that 14 drones were destroyed on the territory of Moscow region.

At the same time, it is not known exactly how many drones reached their target.

The mayor of Moscow Sobyanin confirmed the fact of a fire on the runway of the Zhukovsky aerodrome.

From his own words, the fire started because of falling debris of a drone. In the Network you can see not one shot of the ‘vivid’ spectacle from Zhukovsky.

As a result of unsuccessful work of the Russian air defence system in Ramenskoye, a multi-storey apartment building was struck.

The emergency occurred at Sportivniy Proezd, and the floors from the 11th to the 12th caught fire. One of the flats of a multi-storey building in Vysokovoltnaya Street was also damaged.

During the morning drone attack at Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports, the ‘Cover’ plan was introduced.
