The permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk announced Ukraine's plans to withdraw from international agreements with Belarus within the CIS. The Cabinet of Ministers approved a bill that provides for withdrawal from several agreements concluded by Ukraine within the CIS.
Among these agreements are agreements on cooperation in the field of study, exploration and use of mineral resources, as well as on mutual offset of work experience and length of service in the prosecutor's offices of the Commonwealth countries. Also subject to denunciation is the agreement on the prevention of the use of false trademarks and geographical indications, as well as the agreement on the transfer of samples of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
In addition, Melnychuk noted that it is proposed to denounce the agreement on supporting the development of industrial cooperation between enterprises and industries of the CIS. Let us recall that after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, in which Belarus supports Russia, Kyiv has already terminated many bilateral agreements with Minsk.
