Britain Imposes Sanctions On Russian Aerospace Forces

The new sanctions also apply to the Russian military transport aviation command.

On Tuesday, August 10, Britain announced sanctions against the Russian Aerospace Forces. This was stated in a statement by the British government, quoted by European Pravda.

In addition to the Russian Aerospace Forces, the new British sanctions apply to the 924th State Unmanned Aviation Center of Russia and the Russian military transport aviation command.

The 924th State Unmanned Aviation Center of Russia is responsible for supplying drones to the Russian army, including those used for strikes on Ukraine.

The reasons for imposing sanctions were not specified in the statement.

It is important to note that the United States imposed restrictions on the Russian Aerospace Forces, the 924th State Unmanned Aviation Center and the Russian military transport aviation command back in December 2022.
