AFU Launch Offensive, Advance Near Toretsk

The advance of the Ukrainian forces has been confirmed.

Ukrainian defence forces, as well as the occupation group of the Russian Armed Forces, have recently managed to advance near Toretsk amid ongoing fighting in the area on September 11. This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War in a report dated September 11.

The authors of the publication refer to the geolocation footage that appeared on September 10, which, according to them, confirms a slight advance of the AFU in the north-eastern part of Toretsk.

Other geolocated footage published on September 11 indicates that Russian forces advanced along Tsentralnaya Street in the eastern part of Toretsk. A Russian source claims that Russian forces have advanced further along this street and also in fields southeast of Toretsk. However, OSINT researchers from ISW found no visual confirmation of these claims.

Also, according to analysts, on September 10 and 11, Russian forces continued ground attacks near Dachne (northeast of Toretsk), Pivnichne (east of Toretsk), and Nelipivka (south of Toretsk).
