Forbes: Ukrainian Forces Unexpectedly Made Successful Maneuver In Kursk Region

Russian troops will not be able to fulfill the Kremlin's order.

In the Kursk region, battles are now underway with varying success, but no one will hide from the eyes of the Ukrainian combat drone operators. While Putin's army is trying to break into Snagost, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at the enemy, who was at the pontoon bridge over the Seim River.

Putin ordered the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation to dislodge the Ukrainian Army from the territory of the Kursk region until October 1. On September 10, the Russian army launched a counteroffensive, Forbes reports.

The analytical group Frontelligence Insight writes that the counterattack of the Russian Armed Forces was a surprise for many Ukrainian defenders, but no one will hide from the eyes of drone operators.

Thus, operators from the 14th Aviation Systems Regiment saw enemy soldiers in the area of the pontoon bridge over the Seim River.

Fighters from the 27th Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of HIMARS MLRS instantly launched a series of cluster strikes. The video showed that at the beginning of the MLRS operation there were up to 30 occupiers, and by the end of the missile attack there were about 13 people alive.

In another sector of the front near Snagosti, the Russian Armed Forces managed to regain control of a number of settlements. The 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine counterattacked the enemy in the Snagosti area. The front line here is chaotic. Ukrainian forces are represented by paratroopers, battalions and the Territorial Defence forces. And on the part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, there is a real mess of forces.

Experts say that such an army is unlikely to be able to fulfill Putin's direct order by October 1. However, in reality, this does not mean that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not have offensive capabilities.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have an advantage in the amount of manpower and weapons. However, the Ukrainian forces has an advantage in that they will not attack, but defend.

Instead of fighting to the death for a particular piece of land, Ukrainian troops usually fight until they are on the verge of defeat, and then move on to more defensive positions.

However, if a sufficient number of Russian troops simultaneously attack from different directions, Ukrainian troops may be left without reserve positions.

Ukrainian commanders understand this risk. That's why their drones are keeping a close eye on the likely approaches of Russian reinforcements, including any pontoon bridges across the Seim River, and why their best rocket artillery is ready to hit the reinforcements before they reach the front line.
