Estonian Beach Soccer Team Refused To Play Belarusians

The Estonian men's beach soccer team, which advanced to the Euroleague Super Final playoffs in Italy, learned its quarterfinal opponent on Friday and refused to play Belarus, sport.tv3.ee reports.

Thus, the Belarusian team secured its place in the semifinals with a technical victory. For Estonia, the tournament continues with games from 5th to 8th place.

"If Belarus were our opponent, we would have agreed with the team that we would not play them. We go out on the field, loudly sing the Estonian national anthem and then leave the field.
