Owner Of Japanese Company Accuses Belarusian Special Services Of Lying

The KGB falsified correspondence.

The owner of the Japanese company Masanari Sato, who was called "giving instructions" to Japanese citizen Masatoshi Nakanishi, who was detained on charges of espionage, called a "complete hoax." In an interview with the Japanese publication Mainichi Shimbun, Sato accused the Belarusian special services of lying.

In particular, Sato, who was called "a representative of Japanese military intelligence" in the report, drew attention to the fact that the Russian translation of the chat shown in the story differs significantly from the Japanese original. According to him, where, according to the Belarusian side, there was talk of a “hoax by the USA” (the article is illustrated with a still frame), in reality there was talk of China’s power, and there was no mention of the USA at all [the report showed correspondence on both topics, it is possible that its authors incorrectly compared the Japanese and Russian texts - Ed.]

According to Sato, the demonstrated correspondence with Nakanishi, with whom he has actually known for many years and communicated frequently, concerned the possibility of developing business in Belarus and is in no way connected with intelligence activities.
