The Ukrainian Forces used the Ukrainian-made Palyanitsa drone missile for the first time during a strike on a military target in the temporarily occupied Crimea in August, Ukrainska Pravda reports citing sources.

The exact target hit by the Palyanitsa is not specified.

According to sources, it was a complex operation during which the drone missile had previously hit the target.

During the Independence Day celebrations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had struck Russian occupiers for the first time on August 24 with a Ukrainian-made Palyanitsa drone missile.
