Lukashenka spoke about war again. This time, at the Obuz-Lesnovsky military training ground.

“The old formula is: if you want peace, prepare for war. I would like to emphasize once again (although why should we justify ourselves to anyone here) that we are not going to fight, we do not want to fight... All this has already been said. They listen to this, but they do their job, our opponents, our rivals. Those who are preparing against us, let us say it frankly, to fight.

Therefore, we need to prepare for war. And God willing, this war will not happen. No matter how acute the situation around Belarus, we do not yet see any tendencies to unleash a war against us,” Lukashenka said.

Lukashenka also instructed to “update the tasks of territorial defense taking into account the current conditions of military operations.”
