Fire Breaks Out After Drone Attack In Rostov Region Of Russian Federation

Near Novoshakhtinsk.
Russia complained about a drone attack on the night of September 27. The Rostov region authorities claimed the ‘destruction’ of six Ukrainian UAVs near Novoshakhtinsk overnight, Obozrevatel reports.
According to the Rostov region governor Vasily Golubev, a fire broke out in a field as a result of falling debris. Local public pages were meanwhile publishing photos and videos of the raging fire.
Russian air defence systems were working near Novoshakhtinsk last night.
‘A total of 6 UAVs were destroyed near Novoshakhtinsk this night. As a result of falling debris, grass caught fire in the field. The fire was promptly extinguished by the on-duty rescue services. There were no casualties or destruction on the ground,' states the Rostov region governor.
The fire was also reported by residents of the region. Local media published photos and videos of a rather powerful fire outside Novoshakhtinsk.
According to eyewitness reports, the fire broke out right next to the power transmission line.
