Water Quality Sharply Deteriorates In Minsk

After the accident on the main water pipeline.

Residents of some districts of the capital complain about the deterioration of water quality. This was reported by the Minsk city executive committee on its Telegram channel in the morning on September 27.

According to Minskvodakanal, after the restoration of water supply, emergency brigades of the company immediately organised flushing of some sections of water supply networks.

‘Constant quality monitoring with routine work is being carried out. The problem will be solved,' assured the Minsk city executive committee.

We remind you that in the evening of September 26, there was a decrease in pressure, absence and deterioration of water quality in the water supply system in Kastrychnitski, Zavadski and Leninski districts of Minsk. The cause of the problems was the damage of the main water pipeline with a diameter of 1000 mm.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the water supply was fully restored. Water started to be supplied at 00.15.
