Important Russian military centers have been destroyed.
Explosions thundered in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, on the night of September 28-29. Sixty Kh-47 Kinzhal missiles may have been destroyed at the airfield. This was reported by the Russian publication Astra and former State Duma deputy Alexander Nevzorov in his Telegram.
“Explosions thundered near a military town in Yeysk. Presumably, drones struck the region,” Astra said in a statement.
Journalists, citing local residents, noted that the explosions thundered near a military town where a Russian Navy airfield is located. In particular, the 859th Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Naval Aviation Flight Personnel of the Russian Navy and the 190th Training Mixed Aviation Regiment are based there.
Nevzorov noted that ten complexes with six launches of Kh-47 Kinzhal missiles, i.e. 60 missiles, were destroyed at the airport.
“Consider that it — the airport — no longer exists. And yes, these missiles were there “passing through” to another airport. They did not make it,” said Alexander Nevzorov.
On the night of September 29, the Russian Defense Ministry reported an attack by UAVs in seven regions. Thus, 125 drones were allegedly destroyed in the Volgograd, Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov, Bryansk, Kursk regions, and Krasnodar Krai.
