How To Make Putin Want Peace

Effective way.

The Russian MoD announced the largest attack of Ukrainian drones on facilities in Russia. The report reads about 15 regions were attacked by drones, but subsequently, another region fell under the attack. The Russians said that they destroyed all the drones, but later objected to themselves.

Thus, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that the drone damaged the technical premises of the Moscow Oil Refinery, and a fire broke out.

The head of the Kashira city district, Mikhail Shuvalov, said that the drones were trying to attack the local hydroelectric power station. In the Tver region, a fire was reported in the area of the Konakovskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant, one of the largest power plants in the central part of Russia.

Then they reported on the new consequences of drone strikes on infrastructure facilities in Russia. In the Russian public there was a video of a strike on the territory of the Konakovskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant, where the fire started as a result. There was also video confirmation of an attack by one of the drones on the Moscow Oil Refinery.

Kyiv can now respond to strikes on the Ukrainian infrastructure with strikes on the Russian one. This is a rather important change in the logistics of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

We talk a lot about how Russia systematically destroys the Ukrainian infrastructure and pay special attention to how the Russians are trying to occupy new settlements in Ukraine. However, the nature of the war can change only if the relevant peace enforcement measures are carried out on the territory of Russia.

Of course, it is possible to stop the occupiers somewhere on the line of contact, it is possible to ask the allies for new air defence systems that will be able to protect Ukrainian infrastructure from attacks by Russian missiles and drones, it is possible to build a kind of iron dome, although this requires billions of dollars and a long time. But that won't end the war.

Russia will believe that in this situation it can accumulate forces for a new offensive on Ukraine, for new strikes on the infrastructure, and can find weaknesses in the Ukrainian air defence. That is, the war will not tend to end in the foreseeable future.

We have been talking about such a war since February 2022, when the President of Russia made the final decision to destroy Ukrainian statehood and annex Ukrainian territories to criminal Russia.

Perhaps the nature of this war has changed since Vladimir Putin realized that the entire territory of Ukraine cannot be occupied. However, Putin's change in these sentiments led exclusively to the fact that he decided to turn our state into an infrastructure desert.

Is there any way out? It is quite simple – to turn Russia into an infrastructure desert, to control its territories, to create a large number of so-called small cuts for Russians, to deprive the population of Russia of the possibilities of a normal existence, to destroy Russian oil refining and the like.

The so-called “ordinary Russians” should also suffer from the war. Only this will lead Putin and his inner circle to the idea of the need to end the war, not because they do not have the strength to attack, but because they have problems on the territory of Russia itself. Such a large-scale drone attack on the territory of Russia should convince Russians that in the coming years of the war they will have a hard time exhausting themselves.

If the allies allow Ukraine to launch missiles at Russian infrastructure facilities that are related to defence, this will accelerate the understanding of the "ordinary Russians" of the danger of war and accelerate Putin's desire to think about a truce.
