Zelensky: 41 People Were Killed By Russian Strike On Poltava

More than 180 people were injured.

Russian troops launched a missile strike on Poltava on September 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. According to him, 41 people were killed and more than 180 people were injured.

Zelensky said that two ballistic missiles hit the territory of an educational institution and a hospital. One of the buildings of the Institute of Communications was partially destroyed.

“I have ordered a full and prompt investigation of all the circumstances of the incident. All necessary services have been involved in the rescue operation. I am grateful to each and every one of those who have been helping people from the first minutes after the strike, who are saving lives,” Zelensky said.

Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Filipp Pronin said that residents of Poltava were donating blood because of what happened.
