British Defense Minister: Ukrainian Kursk Operation Has Confused Putin

The dictator doesn't know what to do.

The new British Defense Minister John Healey called unwavering support for Ukraine his “number one priority”, and also noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces' offensive in the Kursk region has confounded the head of the Kremlin.

This was reported by Politico.

According to journalists, Healey said this while speaking on board a Royal Air Force plane en route to Germany, where he will take part in a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukrainian Defense.

“I am proud that the UK has united in support of Ukraine, and I was determined, and Keir Starmer was determined, to continue that with the Labor government,” the Minister said.

He also stressed that the offensive on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation “has clearly put Putin in a dead end, since he has left parts of his border undefended, and he is still deciding what to do in response, while Ukraine holds its positions in this area.”
