It is known when it will arrive.
This year Norway will provide the largest military aid in its history. We are talking about the amount of more than 2 billion euros, which will be sent to Ukraine.
This information was announced by the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Rustem Umerov on his Facebook page after talks with his Norwegian counterpart Bjorn Arild Gram.
During the meeting, the ministers agreed on the priority areas for the use of this assistance, and a special emphasis was placed on strengthening the Ukrainian air defence.
In addition, Oslo will continue to invest in Ukraine's defence industry and joint projects. In particular, the matter concerns investments in producing ammunition.
The parties also discussed the ‘Norwegian model’ - a format of co-operation that will complement the ‘Danish model’.
Meanwhile, the UK, Latvia and other NATO countries will jointly provide Ukraine with 30,000 UAVs worth 45m pounds.
In turn, Germany will provide almost 50 guided missiles for IRIS-T air defence systems. This was reported by the defence departments of these countries following the meeting in the Ramstein format.
