Poland Secretly Produces Weapons For Ukrainian Army and Repairs Vehicles

A Ukrainian diplomat has revealed the details.

Poland has long been helping Ukraine in the production of weapons and ammunition but does not disclose the cooperation for security reasons. This was told to Zerkalo Nedeli by the Chargé d'Affaires of Poland in Ukraine Piotr Łukasiewicz.

According to the diplomat, several joint military enterprises have now been created that produce unmanned systems and repair heavy vehicles. He also noted that the countries cooperate in the field of high technology.

Łukasiewicz also noted that a plant of the Ukrainian defence industry operates in Poland, but refused to give details on security issues.

"Some countries that declare such cooperation, such as the construction of a plant for the production of military equipment, are geographically located far from Russia. And since nothing threatens them, they can talk about it. We are very close, and therefore we do not talk about it," emphasized the Chargé d'Affaires of Poland in Ukraine Piotr Łukasiewicz, adding that geography is very important in this case.
