New Excerpt From The Diary Of North Korean Soldier Eliminated In Kursk Region Published

Private Jong wrote about "universal battalions".

North Korea is sending its troops to help Russia in the war against Ukraine so that they can gain combat experience and be ready for military action.

This was stated in the diary entry of North Korean special forces soldier Gyong Hong Jong, who died in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, as reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 3.

"At the same time, North Korean soldiers have orders to carry out tasks even at the cost of their own lives thousands of kilometers from home for the sake of the party and the interests of Kim Jong-un, which shows the dictator's real attitude to his own troops," the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted, commenting on the decrypted records of the DPRK special forces soldier.

Ukrainian defenders also recalled that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un continues to hide the fact of sending his troops to Russia.

"Task: At the same time, the most important of them (fronts) is the front of anti-imperialist and class struggle, and the most important task is combat readiness. I will emphasize once again that the most important, vital task for our armed forces is readiness in case of war," says the entry from Jong's notebook.

Also, the North Korean soldier who was liquidated in the Kursk region by the operators of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces writes about the slogan: "All forces - to complete preparations for war!" The revolution demands this, the current circumstances demand this, this is a combat slogan that should be raised high on the banner of our armed forces at all levels." According to Jong's notes, the DPRK battalions are tasked with being able to act and fight immediately after receiving an order.

"To prepare universal battalions that can ideally complete any task even at the cost of death – this is the goal that each battalion in our armed forces must achieve, this is the spirit of this congress," Jong wrote.

The Special Operations Forces also emphasized that some of the information from this soldier’s notebook cannot be made public because it is sensitive and classified.
