Donald Trump's decision to help Ukraine could seriously affect the further course of the war. If Ukraine is given a lot of modern weapons, then the Russians will have no chance in this war. This opinion was expressed by veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hetman, OBOZ.UA reports.

“If we are given the most modern weapons worth 500 billion, but not in terms of bags of money, but containers of weapons, then the Russians will have no chance in this war. Then this will really be significant help. I think we have enough people who could use these weapons, although the issue of mobilization has not been removed from the agenda,” Hetman noted.

He emphasized that Ukraine needs several hundred tanks, aircraft, and missiles, not several dozen.

“Simply put, we need not 30 Abrams tanks, but 300, not 20 aircraft, but 200, not two Tomahawk missiles that need to be put in a cupboard and dusted off, but 200. That would be significant help,” Hetman said.
