Hot Air Balloon from Russia Penetrated Poland

Cyrillic inscriptions were found on the balloon.

An unknown hot air balloon has been discovered in Poland. It may have flown into Polish territory from Russia.

This was reported by RMF FM.

The balloon was found in a forest near the town of Prostki in the Warmian–Masurian Voivodeship. The object was discovered by workers from one of the forestries and they reported it to the police.

The initial check confirmed that it was a meteorological device. The balloon is used, among other things, to measure temperature.

Cyrillic inscriptions were found on the hot air balloon. In Poland, it is assumed that the balloon flew in from the Kaliningrad region of Russia.

Several such objects were found in the Warmian–Masurian Voivodeship last year.
