Teacher, Member Of Election Commission, Tried In Rechytsa

The woman was tried under a ‘political article’.

On 8 January, Rechytsa district court heard an administrative case, in which teacher Sviatlana Sashenka, who was a member of the election commission, was charged under Article 19.11, part 2.

It's still unknown what punishment the ‘judge’ Hennadz Shevel came up with, writes ‘Homel Viasna’.

Human rights activists found out that until recently Sviatlana Sashenka worked as a history teacher in one of the schools of Rechytsa district. In 2018, during the elections to the local councils of deputies, she was a member of the so-called election commission.
