Zelensky Justifiably Laughed At Lukashenko

The dictator made himself look shallow.

Lukashenko confirmed the validity of Zelensky's mockery of him. The ruler of Belarus has apparently forgotten what he said two months ago about the war in Ukraine, making himself look like a shallow politician, writes "Salidarnasts".

We would like to recall that on August 1, during his trip to Valaam, sitting with Vladimir Putin on a bench, Alexander Lukashenko threateningly said:

- Ukraine today should run to ask him: Vladimir Vladimirovich, let's sit down at the negotiating table, let's come to an agreement. Otherwise, in a few months, a month and a half or two months, I don't know, there won't even be any defenses left there. The Russians will chew it all away, seize it and go further, reclaim it.

And now more than two months have passed, and the situation on the front has not changed significantly: the Russian army has nothing to boast about, it is still breaking its teeth on the Ukrainian defense.

And what does Lukashenko say? At the recent summit of CIS heads of state held in Dushanbe, the ruler in a comment to Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin said this about the need for peace talks:

- It is urgent to act. Be that as it may, Russia is advancing on the front. I say this responsibly, as I observe it every day in fact. And this may lead to the disappearance of Ukraine as a state.

- Twenty-five again. Lukashenko was so eager to please the Russian propaganda that he apparently forgot about his words of two months ago. And thus confirmed the validity of the mockery of him by Vladimir Zelensky.

A few weeks ago, the Ukrainian president called the rulers of Belarus and Russia "old grandfathers" and noted that Lukashenko lives "in his own world."

The ruler responded resentfully with the words:

- As my colleague Volodya Zelensky, whom he considered his son, recently said here, "old men" we are "whispering in corners" with Putin to the detriment of others. Nonsense.

But with his statement Lukashenko confirmed that the Ukrainian president was right in his mockery.
