The President of Ukraine has addressed the participants of the 71st annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Leaders of parliaments and governments should fix the need to supply Ukraine with more powerful air defense systems and missiles.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this during an address to the 71st annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
"Russia must understand that it cannot terrorize any country with impunity," he said
Zelensky recalled that twice in recent days he discussed with US President Donald Trump details of cooperation. They spoke in particular about air defense, Patriot systems, Tomahawk missiles. As well as necessary energy equipment and the refusal of partners from buying Russian oil.
The Ukrainian president stressed that even the political arguments of individual countries cannot justify funding that strengthens Putin's position.
"You cannot be part of the free world and at the same time finance those who want to destroy it," he said.
He also thanked the countries that joined the PURL program: The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Canada, the Baltic States, Belgium, Luxembourg, Iceland and Slovenia. Zielenski called for pledges to be received quickly, as "they save lives." He also urged other Alliance members to join the PURL, saying it would help Ukraine.
"Air terror is Putin's last move. We must stop him. Prevent him from winning on the ground and in the sky. Then real diplomacy will become possible," Zelensky emphasized.
