The regime doesn't notice Russian drones over the country.
On October 1, two Russian drones crashed in the border township of Komarin, Bragin district. Not just fell - one exploded.
The second, according to eyewitnesses, crashed directly onto a private house, breaking the roof, but did not explode. So residents in a large radius were evacuated to clear it.
Locals share that drones often buzz over their village, through which the route of Russian UAVs passes. They fly over the Bragin district in transit on their way to Ukraine.
Republican state media do not traditionally report on drone overflights. Journalists of "Salidarnastsi" did not find any news about the latest incident on the website of the district newspaper bragin.by.
According to the district newspaper, the next day on October 2, the deputy prosecutor of Bragin district met with local deputies. They focused on the topic of corruption and methods of fighting it, which is topical for Belarus.
It is not known whether the local authorities were concerned about drones falling on the houses of the residents of their district, but the deputy prosecutor touched upon the topic of "extremism" and punishment for dissemination of prohibited information.
A few days later, according to the Bragin district newspaper, the border guards talked to the residents of Komarin. But they didn't talk about security either. Because more important for the people, whose homes have become live targets, are the issues of... "organization of recreational fishing in the border strip".
Instead of warning about possible risks for all comers, the border guards, who are actually obliged to know and notify about any flying objects, after the meeting organized a concert of the military orchestra of the Gomel border guard group.
It is impossible to say that the authorities of Bragin do not care about the people at all. On their official website there is even a special section "Safety School. People are warned about all the risks - about the rules of electrical safety, about caution on the roads, about telephone scammers.
Not long ago in the district, for example, a special complex event "Arsenal" was held, during which the police revealed and suppressed offenses related to illegal actions with weapons, ammunition and explosive devices and substances.
Probably, military drones flying in are simply not considered weapons and explosives by the police, because they were not mentioned again.
