The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine drew attention to the information of the Belarusian Human Rights Center "Viasna" about another wave of repressions of Lukashenko's regime against the citizens of Belarus within the framework of the so-called "Gayun case" and issued a special statement in this regard.
In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regretfully states that in Belarus under Lukashenko, literally anything can become the basis for repressions, "even a carelessly spoken Belarusian word" In addition, he recalls that Lukashenko's Belarus became an accomplice in the unleashing of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, for which "it must necessarily bear its share of responsibility for the commission of this crime and all subsequent atrocities against the Ukrainian people."
"We believe that in the future democratic Belarus will pass the path of purification from the crimes of Lukashenko's dictatorship, restore its independence and sovereignty after years of Russian domination and return to the family of European nations, to which it has historically belonged. More than a thousand people are on the list for detention.
