Drones Repeatedly Attacked Lukoil's Refinery In Volgograd

A massive fire started.

On the night of October 15, drones attacked an oil refinery in Volgograd that supplies fuel to the Russian occupation army in Ukraine. This is reported by Russian Telegram channels, Dialog.UA.

According to Telegram channels, UAVs struck the refinery in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd. Local residents heard several explosions. A heavy fire started in the area of the oil refinery.

The video is published by the Telegram channel "Crimeanwind". Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov has confirmed that drones attacked the region's strategic facilities at night.

He claims that Russian air defense allegedly repelled the drone attack. He said there was damage as a result of "falling UAV debris".

The Volgograd airport temporarily did not receive or dispatch planes. The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian air defenses allegedly shot down 59 Ukrainian drones on the night of October 15.

The refinery in Volgograd's Krasnoarmeysky district is owned by Lukoil. The enterprise refines more than 15 million tons of oil annually. It produces gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, etc.

The AFU has previously struck this strategic facility. The fact is that this plant supplies fuel to the Russian occupation army in Ukraine. For example, drones attacked this enterprise on the night of August 14, as a result of which two pipelines and a tank of the primary oil refining unit caught fire. The refinery suspended operations at that time.
