A teenager from Australia has circumnavigated the globe to become the youngest pilot in aviation history. This was reported by ABC News .
According to the source, the flight of 16-year-old Byron Waller began two months ago when he was 15 years old. The pilot took off in his light-engine plane from Brisbane on August 9, and during the entire trip he flew 240 hours, covered 45,000 kilometers, made 40 stops and visited 19 countries. He returned home on October 15, having made a successful landing at the airport of departure.
It is specified that Waller celebrated his birthday for only seven hours, as he was crossing the time zone flying over Fiji at that moment. His record is currently awaiting official ratification by the World Airport Federation. "I made aviation history and was able to show people that they too can do what they want to do," the young man shared his impressions.
