The United Kingdom together with the United States may develop a new peace plan for Ukraine.

The initiative envisions the creation of a document that would be built along the lines of Donald Trump's 20-point peace plan for the Gaza Strip. This was announced by United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a telephone conversation with European leaders, Axios reports.

Sources say Starmer's proposal came while discussing ways to resolve the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Simultaneously, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte proposed an urgent coordination meeting between the national security advisers of European states. Such a meeting could take place as early as next weekend.
