Camp Jomsborg, the largest training center for Ukrainian military personnel, has been opened in Poland. It can simultaneously accommodate up to 1,200 people, OBOZ.UA reported.
The new center should not only provide training for the Defense Forces, but also strengthen the exchange of combat experience between the military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and NATO. This was reported in the defense departments of Ukraine and Poland.

According to Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Evgeniy Moysyuk, the training center was created with the support of European partners, in particular Norway.
"Here we will be able to share with partners, including the experience in the use and counteraction to drones," Moysyuk said.

The opening ceremony of the center was attended by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, as well as the Norwegian and Estonian defense ministers Tore Onshuus Sandvik and Hanno Pevkur respectively, as well as representatives of other NATO member states.
The training center is located at the Demba Lipa Land Forces training ground. The center already hosts 250 Norwegian instructors. They are expected to be joined soon by soldiers from Estonia and other Alliance countries.

"The Center for Ukrainian soldiers is located near Ukraine, in the Podkarpackie region, in a prestigious location. Thanks to the Center, this training ground is really starting its second life. It is getting opportunities it never had before. But it is not a one-way street. I think the main element is that here we will rely on Ukrainian experience and adopt it," Kosiniak-Kamysh noted.

The Center already has a runway for launching drones, he said, so "there is an opportunity to implement lessons learned from the war that is going on in Ukraine, to study the best army solutions for fighting drones and the possibilities of using drones that the Ukrainian army has."
