(updated) The enforcers got the date of birth wrong.
Today, the Interior Ministry updated the "List of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens or stateless persons, who are involved in extremist activities" - 31 people were added there, writes "Viasna".
Among others, the name of 16-year-old Polina Zhakovich appeared there - she was convicted under the "people's" Article 342 of the Criminal Code in the court of Pershamaiski district of Minsk. The details of the case are unknown, but at the time of the protests in 2020 Polina was 11 years old.
It is reported that the girl was "released from responsibility on the basis of Article 86 of the Criminal Code", but added to the "list of extremists".
Later it turned out that the girl was actually 22 years old, she graduated from MITSO University. The police databases had simply recorded her year of birth incorrectly.
