The Estonian Social Democratic Party decided to use the capital of Belarus in its election slogans.
In the local elections, which will be held on December 19, the Social Democrats call "to choose Copenhagen, not Minsk."
The posters were noticed by Belarusian businessman and former political prisoner Alexandr Vasilevich.
"In the elections, citizens have two ways. The first is to support the Social Democrats and strive to make the capital similar to one of the most successful cities in Europe - Copenhagen. The second is to return to the style of governance of the Center Party, which leads to an authoritarian and only outwardly 'prosperous' Minsk," explained representatives of the Social Democratic Party of Estonia.
