Two air defense sites were hit.
The AFU Special Operations Forces hit the P-14F "Lena" long-range detection radar and the Sopka-2 highway radar complex on the territory of the aggressor country Russia with attack drones.
The press service of the AFU Special Operations Forces reported this on Friday, October 3.
The P-14F "Lena" radar was an element of the airspace control system around the military airbase of the Russian Air Force Buturlinovka in Voronezh region.
The "Sopka-2" radar was an element of the continuous wall airspace direction finding system along the border with Ukraine. UAVs hit the complex in the village of Garmashovka in Voronezh Region.
The SDF emphasized that both Russian air defense systems were aimed at countering Ukrainian drones, "but it didn't work out."
The SDF command in a commentary "Ukrainska Pravda" specified that the drones hit enemy air defense facilities on the night of October 1.
On the night of September 30, SDF units hit a radar station of Russia's S-400 Triumf air defense missile system with attack drones.
