There are even fire trucks in the queues.
The fuel crisis is worsening in Russia, caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries. The situation is especially noticeable in the regions and occupied territories, where long queues are recorded at gas stations, and gasoline has begun to be sold by coupons and with restrictions, dialog.ua reported.
In annexed Crimea, the occupants have introduced a limit on fuel sales - no more than 20 liters per person. At a number of gas stations there were signs with the inscription about selling gasoline only by coupons or fuel cards. Such measures have caused additional discontent among the population, which is already facing constant price increases and fuel shortages.

The problems have also engulfed the Altai Territory. In Biysk, about half of the gas stations have closed due to lack of gasoline, and the remaining ones have kilometers-long queues. At one of Rosneft's gas stations, emergency vehicles, including fire trucks, were lined up. A similar situation was recorded at a Lukoil gas station near the Riviera shopping center.
Local authorities were quick to say that the shortage was "short-term" and allegedly provoked by a frenzy of demand that was "fueled by unknown accounts on social networks." However, residents claim the opposite: the outages have been going on for several days now, and gasoline is becoming a real shortage in the city.

The Russian economy was clearly not ready for large-scale outages, and the price restrictions imposed by the authorities have only exacerbated the situation - many gas stations are simply closing down, unable to operate at a loss.
