A reason has been given.

Belavia plane from Minsk to El Alamein (Egypt) made an emergency landing at Moscow Domodedovo airport because of a sick passenger, reported on October 7 by Aviaincident aviation incident reporting service.

The plane left Minsk on October 3. At 14.52 Domodedovo received a signal about an incident with a sick passenger. The airport issued an alert with the aviation incident code "Blue." This signal means that the incident occurred in flight.

The charter eventually landed safely at 14.58 at Domodedovo's alternate airfield. The plane also exceeded the landing weight, said Aviaincident.

After that, the plane continued the flight and returned from El Alamein to Minsk at night on October 4, according to Flightradar data. According to the service, on October 6, the same board was diverted to the airport of the Russian Saratov, when it was flying from Minsk to Antalya. It is unknown what caused the change of route.

Reminder, the charter program from Minsk to El Alamein started at the end of May 2025. It will last until mid-October.
