Damascus And Kurds Agree On Ceasefire

All along the front lines in northern and northeastern Syria.

The head of the Syrian Defense Ministry Morhef Abu Qasra and the commander of the Kurdish formations "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) have agreed on a ceasefire on the entire front line in northern and northeastern Syria. This was reported by the SANA news agency.

The day before, the SDF attacked Syrian security checkpoints in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in northern Aleppo and shelled nearby residential areas. Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nureddin Baba said 25 civilians were injured in the attacks.

The Syrian Defense Ministry said the army's recent movements in the north and northeast were part of a planned redeployment and not the start of new military operations.
