European Parliament Urged To Allow Ukraine To Hit Russian Territory With Western Weapons

MEPs of the European Parliament believe that Ukraine should be stripped of restrictions on the use of weapons provided to it by Western states to strike military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

This is stated in the European Parliament resolution approved on October 9, the "European Pravda" edition reported.

The document states that it is from its territory that the Russian Federation attacks the Ukrainian population and critical civilian infrastructure. Therefore, Kiev should be allowed to hit the aggressor country's military targets with Western weapons, the MEPs said.

In addition, the European Parliament called on the EU to start using frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine as soon as possible.
