The Fire At "Naftan" Has Been Eliminated

The diesel fuel of the process plant was burning.
Rescuers managed to eliminate the fire at the technological unit on the territory of the Naftan oil refinery in Navapolatsk. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at about 10:20.
The emergency response headquarters, which included representatives of the plant and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was working at the scene.
A supply of inert gases was organized to dilute combustible substances and materials. 12 gun barrels were involved in cooling the emergency installation and installations located nearby.
The fire at "Naftan" became known in the morning of November 6. There the diesel fuel of the process unit caught fire. In the fight against the fire participated 17 vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is reported that no one was injured in the incident.
