Ukraine has warned of a possible Russian Federation target.
Three Russian border guards crossed into Estonian territory for about 20 minutes on Wednesday, December 17. After the incident, which was captured on video, border patrols in the area have been strengthened.
About this on Thursday, December 18, writes Bloomberg, emphasizing that the incident was yet another cause for concern from the NATO member country about Moscow's intentions.

On Thursday, Estonian and Russian officials will hold a meeting to discuss the incident. In addition, Estonia intends to summon a Russian diplomat to Tallinn.
Estonia's Interior Minister Igor Taro said on ETV that it was unclear whether the incident was a deliberate provocation or an accident.
Estonia and Russia have long failed to ratify a border treaty. Most of the de facto border runs along the Narva River. However, the Dec. 17 border breach occurred on a narrow stretch of land. This is not the first time Russia has tested Estonia's borders for strength, Bloomberg points out.
The Web also posted a video of Russian border guards crossing the Estonian border.

The incident was commented on by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko.
"This is what hybrid warfare looks like - Russia, following cable and drone sabotage, continues to probe NATO's reaction," he stressed.
