Syrsky About Kupyansk: The AFU Has Improved The Tactical Situation In The City

Ukrainian defenders are mopping up the town of Kupyansk from the occupants. Now the AFU are pushing the Russians north of the city, as well as from other areas where the enemy is still present.
This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyy on Facebook.
He said that today, December 2, he worked in the units of the search and strike group and tactical group Kupyansk. There was a discussion of the implementation of measures to stabilize the situation in the area of the city.
"I listened to reports on the operational situation - the information is encouraging. Our units managed to significantly improve the tactical situation directly in the city. The infiltration routes of the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been blocked," Syrskyy said.
According to him, the cleansing of the territory of Kupyansk from the Russian occupants continues now. He added that the Russians have "successes" only in the plane of propaganda.
"We are working on the gradual displacement of the enemy from its bridgehead north of the city, as well as from a number of other areas where the Russians still maintain their presence," the AFU commander-in-chief said.
Sirsky emphasized that he admires "the courage and professionalism of the soldiers, who demonstrate exceptional resilience and readiness to destroy the enemy."
"I gave instructions to provide our troops in accordance with the needs, in particular with additional means to increase the fire impact on the enemy," he added.
