The Newest U.S. Spy Plane Appeared Over The Black Sea

The radius of ARTEMIS II's reconnaissance capabilities reaches up to 600 kilometers.

The newest American electronic reconnaissance aircraft Bombardier ARTEMIS II is operating over the Black Sea.

The monitoring group "Crimean Wind" reports this.

According to the released information, the aircraft took off from the Romanian airfield "Mihail Cogelniceanu" and is carrying out a reconnaissance mission over the Black Sea.

Bombardier ARTEMIS II is a modified Challenger 650 business jet adapted for long-range and high-precision intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). The aircraft is capable of operating at high altitudes and reconnaissance over a considerable distance.

The ARTEMIS II's reconnaissance range reaches up to 600 kilometers. According to monitoring data, from a typical flight path over the Black Sea, it can record the work of radar stations and communication facilities on the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine - in particular, as far as Rostov-on-Don, Donetsk and Kherson.
