Photos And Video Of New Ukrainian Cruise Missiles "Bars" Have Emerged

The Ukrainian cruise missile Bars, with which the Ukrainian army is already striking Russian occupiers, has been shown publicly for the first time. This was reported on December 19 by the Ukrainian military portal Defence Express.

Experts drew attention to a December 18 Facebook post by the Museum of the Russian-Ukrainian War at the National Defense University of Ukraine.

"We have been hunting this beast for a very long time. Finally successful. With the help of a brigadier general known in wide and narrow circles we got a unique exhibit - UAV "Bars". A rocket drone that systematically and effectively destroys enemy rear areas," the post reads.

Defense Express experts clarified that the Bars is specifically a cruise missile.

The publication also published a video of the Bars launch. The missile is designed according to the classic aerodynamic scheme: the wingspan is about two meters, the tail is two-plane, and the jet engine is placed above the fuselage made of composite material.

"There is no clear data on the characteristics yet, except for a range of 700-800 km, and the understanding that the warhead of the Bars is probably tens of kilograms or, at best, about 100 kg," the publication notes.

According to Defense Express, the production and use of Bars cruise missiles has already become widespread.

"There have already been cases when about 100 Bars alone were simultaneously launched at the enemy," the authors of the publication emphasized.
