A Powerful Russian Night Attack Was Repelled By Ukrainian F-16s

A massive air attack of the Russian occupants today was repelled thanks to the coordinated and hard work of all components of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. The pilots of F-16 fighter jets played a special role in destroying cruise missiles.

The head of the communications department of the Air Force Command Yuriy Ignat said this on the air of the "United News" telethon, writes unian.net. According to him, the enemy attack recorded damage and destruction: 21 locations were hit, there is also damage from falling debris from missiles and drones.

The Russian side used a total of 673 means of air attack. Among them - 38 air and ground-based missiles: 35 cruise missiles and three aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal".

"The enemy used an extremely large number of means of air attack. The geography of the attack was very wide - all the way to Lviv region. The Odessa region was also affected. Active hostilities were carried out in Khmelnitsky, Ternopil and Zhytomyr regions," Ignat noted.
