Poland Was Closing Part Of Its Airspace

Because of the objects flown in from Belarus.

In Poland, part of the airspace was closed at night from December 24 to 25 because of the objects, which flew from the direction of Belarus. This is stated in the report of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces.

Objects entering Polish airspace from the direction of Belarus were spotted during the night.

"After a detailed analysis, it was determined that these were most likely smuggled balloons moving in the direction and speed of the wind. The flight of all objects was continuously monitored by radar systems," the agency said.

For security reasons, part of the airspace over the Podlaskie Voivodeship was temporarily closed to civilian traffic.
