Zelensky Reported A "very Good Conversation" With Whitkoff And Kushner

Ukraine's president called the conversation "a step toward peace."
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a conversation with the special envoy of the American leader Steve Whitkoff and son-in-law of Donald Trump Jared Kushner. Zelensky wrote about it on his Facebook page.
"Had a very good conversation today with President Trump's special representative Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner. Thank you for the constructive, intensive work and for the kind words and Christmas greetings to Ukrainians," the post reads.
Zelensky expressed hope that today's Christmas agreements and ideas that the parties discussed will be useful.
The conversation from Ukraine was also attended by:
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov;
Chief of the AFU General Staff Andriy Gnatov;
Chief of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andriy Sibiga;
First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kislitsa;
Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Ihor Brusilo;
Advisor of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Oleksandr Bevz.
The president said Umerov will talk to Whitkoff and Kushner again today.
"We believe it is right not to lose a single day and no opportunities that could bring the result closer. Let our conversation today be another step towards peace," Zelensky said.
He also sent Christmas greetings for US President Donald Trump and the entire Trump family.
