Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz praised the work of the military after Polish fighter jets intercepted a Russian reconnaissance plane over the Baltic Sea.

In his message, the Polish defense minister said, "Another tense night for the operational services of the Polish Army. All provocations, both over the Baltic Sea and on the border with Belarus, were under full control. Thank you to almost 20 thousand of our soldiers, who are watching over our security during the holidays - and, as we can see, doing it very effectively."
