Zelensky: The 20-point Peace Plan Is 90% Ready

Ukraine's president will discuss the remaining 10% with Trump.

The plan to settle the war, which Ukrainian officials have been developing together with international partners, is about 90 percent ready. This was stated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, answering journalists' questions in the chat room of the President's Office, writes liga.net.

The Ukrainian head of state was asked what expectations he has before his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump. According to Zelensky, the teams of Ukraine and the United States have worked "very well" and have already prepared the first drafts of several documents.

The president noted that there are still some issues that can be discussed only at the level of state leaders.

"We will talk about security guarantees. I am grateful to both sides for the fact that the document turned out to be very good indeed. Now the developments are strong," Zelensky emphasized.

He specified that the peace plan, which consists of 20 points and was prepared by joint teams, is currently 90% ready.

"Our task is to make everything 100% ready. It is not easy, and no one claims that one hundred percent will be achieved immediately. However, with each such meeting and each conversation, we must bring the desired outcome closer," the president said.

Also, Vladimir Zelensky confirmed that he plans to meet with Donald Trump in Florida on Sunday, December 28.
